Task links are created in the note section of Microsoft To Do and open up the source of the task.

To quickly gain more context of a task that has been created in Microsoft To Do, you can make use of task links. Task links take you back to the task source.

For all Microsoft To Do connections

Task links can be found in the note section of a Microsoft To Do task:

For OneNote & Evernote connections

There are two link options available: 'Open in Browser' and 'Open in App'.

The link will be able to open up the task in the browser or app version of Evernote or OneNote:


💡Please note:

  • Having the task link as part of the note section in Microsoft To Do will not interrupt how your ability to edit the note section.

  • The link is not styled right away, it takes a few minutes to update the correct styling.
